Who's this Adam guy?
Hey, I'm Adam. I'm a Marriage Celebrant, MC, and what some may call a fun guy formerly based in Sydney's Inner West, I now call Newcastle home. I enjoy having a beer, listening to good tunes, and hanging out with dogs. Since being asked to be part of my brother's wedding as a celebrant many years ago, I found a love and passion for being a part of two people's big day!
I'm a firm believer that a wedding should be a reflection of you. I’m all about injecting the fun, involving your guests, and making it the best part of the whole bloody day.
It's out with the old and dull ceremonies and in with the weddings full of absolute joy - setting the tone for the party to come! With your guidance, we will create a unique, energetic, and unforgettable ceremony like no other. I will have your crew laughing, cheering, and even having a good ol’ ugly cry. All the feels, every single one of 'em.

When we first got engaged, Adam was the first celebrant that stood out to us whilst trawling through Google. Instantly we thought, wow this is totally our celebrant, but alas... booked. It's no surprise though, anyone in their right mind would book him early because even at first glance on google we could tell that he was a special, charismatic and talented person.
We moved on, begrudgingly, with a slight hole in our wedding planning hearts and booked another celebrant, who was good... But we knew Adam was the celebrant that got away.
As we approached our wedding date we got the news, global pandemic... Which meant just one thing... ADAM WAS NO LONGER BOOKED FOR OUR NEW DATE, thank god for covid!
Whilst waiting an extra year to get married was not ideal, in all honesty, having Adam as our celebrant was a silver lining in our covid wedding.
Adam was everything we thought he would be as our celebrant, plus so much more.
Adam was so good that people thought he was a really entertaining, charming, hilarious and extremely articulate family member or family friend.
They would say, which side of the family is he on?
but how did he know you both so well? He captured the essence of your relationship like only someone close to you could, what do you mean you only met him twice?
He certainly has a very unique ability to become a friend in an instant.
Even though it has been several months since our wedding, we still hear almost weekly "Your celebrant was just something else, absolutely amazing" "He was the best celebrant I've ever seen" "God your celebrant was so talented" "If I ever get married then I am booking your celebrant" "That was the best wedding ceremony I've ever been to, and I've been going to weddings for 40 years." To say we are still to this day getting rave reviews is an understatement.
Adam has the most beautiful nature, he is effortlessly funny, so comfortable and reassuring. He was enthusiastic about creating the ceremony that we wanted and took our ideas and simply elevated them. He has a thoughtful and considerate attention to detail and we felt so blessed to have him with us on our wedding day.
Words do not do justice to what Adam added to our wedding, he was perfect for us and we could not have imagined being married by anyone else.
If I had one tip for any other couples reading these reviews and considering booking Adam, it would be, don't delay, book him today or you'll spend the rest of your life thinking about the celebrant that got away.

Our wedding day was hands down our best day ever and many guests even said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. We really think it was down to the perfect fun and casual, yet romantic and respectful, tone that Adam set from the get go. He had our guests laughing and crying (at the right moments) throughout the ceremony.
So many of our guests let us know how brilliant they thought Adam was, and how he was “just so Gabby & Rob”. Many even asked if he was a friend of ours as the banter and storytelling was spot on.
Adam is an absolute legend and we couldn’t recommend him more!

We had the most rad experience with Adam. He is so easy going, open to all and any unusual ideas and makes you feel like you're being married by your best friend. The moment we met him, we knew he was the one and every conversation after booking just made us more confident in our choice, always making us feel relaxed and like our personal story was in good hands. He's calm, quick to improvise, inclusive of you and the guests, and can handle a bee attack. You will have fun and you will have a laugh. We are referring to him as "Adam, our bestie" when asked about him or showing off wedding photos. The best in the biz!

When we set out to get married, we wanted to throw a party. A celebration of everyone and everything special to us. From arriving together and dancing onto the green, drawing our witnesses out of hat and signing our certificate in the pokies room, we wanted the day to be a reflection of us and nothing remotely normal.
We wanted a celebrant that would match the brief and help make it a reality. Adam expected the challenge with gusto and goodness did he deliver!

We knew Adam was the one for us the moment we met.
My husband and I are newly married and had the privilege of hanging out and making things official with this legend. Adam was highly recommended to us by our photographer and thank goodness the stars aligned / the heavens opened up / the birds sang (etc) because we couldn’t imagine going with anyone else.
We met at the pub because Adam is cool like that, we talked for ages and went on all the tangents. We quite often had to keep bringing the conversation back to the reason we were all there.
Adam was just incredible, he just got us and every time we spoke or met up it just felt like we were hanging out with a mate. This I discovered, was actually really important to me when choosing a celebrant as I wanted someone that my husband would feel comfortable opening up to. He also really knows his stuff which is good too.
Our wedding was always going to be quite small but with the COVID-19 pandemic and all the challenges and changes that came with that, it became even smaller. Adam, with his stress-free approach and easy going attitude, was SO accommodating and handled everything like a champion, offering to help in any way he could. Just, what a guy. He absolutely delivered by creating a ceremony that felt real and natural, not too serious and just really us. He was fun and goofy, having us in stitches one moment and then feeling all the feels the next. We absolutely couldn’t not recommend Adam enough.
Adam, if you manage to find a celebrant even half as amazing as you for your own wedding then you’re in for a truly incredible day!

Adam is absolutely incredible. He was so friendly and helpful right from the start. The whole process was stress-free, and having Adam as our celebrant took the weight off our shoulders when it came to paperwork and the legalities of it all. He was absolutely awesome on the day, and just added so much joy and laughter, particularly during the ceremony.
The ceremony was so personalised and heart-felt. He was also the MC for our reception, and made sure it all ran smoothly and that we were kept up-to-date with everything that was going on. You can tell that Adam is passionate about what he does, and man he does it well. Just look at that cheesy grin on my partner's face!! Worth every single penny.

I’ve been trying to put into words how bloody incredible Adam is for a few weeks now, nothing I write will ever truly match how amazing he is. Adam was our celebrant and MC for our wedding in September and honestly made our day perfect.
Adam made sure all of the legal stuff was done and made the ceremony about us, had our guests involved and engaged and made the whole day reflect us as a couple to a tee.

The whole process was stress-free, and having Adam as our celebrant took the weight off our shoulders when it came to paperwork and the legalities of it all. He was absolutely awesome on the day, and just added so much joy and laughter, particularly during the ceremony.
The ceremony was so personalised and heart-felt. He was also the MC for our reception, and made sure it all ran smoothly and that we were kept up-to-date with everything that was going on. I’ve been trying to put into words how bloody incredible Adam is for a few weeks now, nothing I write will ever truly match how amazing he is. Adam was our celebrant and MC for our wedding in September and honestly made our day perfect.
Adam made sure all of the legal stuff was done and made the ceremony about us, had our guests involved and engaged and made the whole day reflect us as a couple to a tee.

Adam stuck by us through not one, but three wedding dates due to postponements.
He made the whole process such a breeze and his warm witty nature made the whole experience so much fun.

When we first got engaged, Adam was the first celebrant that stood out to us whilst trawling through Google. Instantly we thought, wow this is totally our celebrant, but alas... booked. It's no surprise though, anyone in their right mind would book him early because even at first glance on google we could tell that he was a special, charismatic and talented person.
We moved on, begrudgingly, with a slight hole in our wedding planning hearts and booked another celebrant, who was good... But we knew Adam was the celebrant that got away.

Our wedding day was hands down our best day ever and many guests even said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. We really think it was down to the perfect fun and casual, yet romantic and respectful, tone that Adam set from the get go. He had our guests laughing and crying (at the right moments) throughout the ceremony.
So many of our guests let us know how brilliant they thought Adam was, and how he was “just so Gabby & Rob”. Many even asked if he was a friend of ours as the banter and storytelling was spot on.

We had the most rad experience with Adam. He is so easy going, open to all and any unusual ideas and makes you feel like you're being married by your best friend. The moment we met him, we knew he was the one and every conversation after booking just made us more confident in our choice, always making us feel relaxed and like our personal story was in good hands. He's calm, quick to improvise, inclusive of you and the guests, and can handle a bee attack. You will have fun and you will have a laugh. We are referring to him as "Adam, our bestie" when asked about him or showing off wedding photos. The best in the biz!

We knew Adam was the one for us the moment we met.
My husband and I are newly married and had the privilege of hanging out and making things official with this legend. Adam was highly recommended to us by our photographer and thank goodness the stars aligned / the heavens opened up / the birds sang (etc) because we couldn’t imagine going with anyone else.
We met at the pub because Adam is cool like that, we talked for ages and went on all the tangents. We quite often had to keep bringing the conversation back to the reason we were all there.
